Biography

Doctor Lauritano cares for researches in the oral medicine field, especially about systemic pharmacological protocols for mucocutaneous pathologies. She is also particularly concerned in the precocious oral diagnosis of systemic diseases.  She has developed studies about oral stomatopirosis and related problems. Nowadays she deals in research about biomolecular aspects of precancerous pathologies of oral mucosae, with focus on the role of MAPKinases. Her researches have had Ministerial funding (COFIN 2005, 2006, 2007). She has developed studies on mucosal diseases in leukemic children, and she won the prize of Monza and Brianza Foundation in 2006: “Evaluation of an oral hygiene protocol in relation to the presence of the principal oral pathogens in pediatric leukemic patients: genome quantification during the antiblastic therapy through the use of the real time PCR.”
