2013 Sep 16 The Hospital for Sick Children Innovation Project - Pediatric Intubating Mask. A specialized facemask designed to facilitate ventilation and fiberoptic intubation in children.

2014 Nov 14 - 2014 Nov 27 Pediatric Pain Awareness Symposium.
Taught didactic lectures, supervised local teachers and ran small group learning sessions for a two week period with a focus on pediatric pain management. Helped improve pain management in pediatric centres in Doha, Qatar.
2013 Nov 24 - 2013 Nov 29 HMC Pediatric Pain Education Symposium. Supervised newly introduced pediatric pain assessment and treatment modalities in Doha, Qatar at the Hamad Medical Corporation. Improve pediatric pain assessment and treatment
2011 Nov 10 - 2011 Nov 17 Pediatric Pain Service Program Setup - Qatar. Helped create the interprofessional group of clinicians, nurses and pharmacists who will comprise an acute pain service at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar. Identified the core acute pain service team to lead the clinical pain service which was non-existent.
2011 Aug Rapid Sequence Induction - Pediatric Resident Code Card. The latest edition of the Pediatric Resident Code Card is being distributed nationally.I authored the sedation/anesthesia medication section as well as the rapid sequence induction section. This reference material is used extensively throughout Canada and internationally.
2008 Aug - 2011 Dec Senior Revision Tutorial Session Leader, PGY-5 and International Medical Graduate group, Dept of Anesthesia, University of Toronto. I have been the Session Leader for Airway/ENT as well as Pediatrics for both the core and IMG student groups since 2008.As session leader I strive to provide the students with the knowledge they need to succeed in the fellowship exams and begin clinical practice in Canada.
