Dr. Lee is interested in developing intelligent informatics systems that utilize large amounts of data for human-centric computing and interdisciplinary studies. His research interests are focused in the fields of Network Communication Systems based on engineering informatics and Human-centric Computing and Analysis with industrial applications. Human-centric technologies collaborated with distributed network systems have the potential to promote a large number of applications, e.g., healthcare, public safety, medical monitoring, and sports medicine. His work utilizes human-centric data combined with signal processing and pattern recognition. His research is an interdisciplinary blend of physical/physiological function and mathematical implementation, and he is most interested in how we can combine these disciplines to improve the quality of life for human society.
