Biography

Dr. Bingzhong Xue is currently an Associate Professor of Biology at Georgia State University. She received her Bachelor of Medicine degree from Shanghai Medical University in Shanghai, China in 1992 and Ph.D. Degree in Nutrition from University of Tennessee at Knoxville, TN in 2000. She later completed her postdoctoral training with Dr. Leslie Kozak at Pennington Biomedical Research Center, Baton Rouge, LAand Dr. Barbara Kahn at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. She joined Wake Forest University School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine/Endocrinology in 2007 and moved to Georgia State University as an Associate Professor in Biology in 2012.
