Educational Academic Experience

Α. Undergraduate Level In Greece

1. During the Academic Years  1979-1980 and 1980-1981, I participated the Academic Activities of the Operative Dentistry Department  as clinical Instructor.
2. During the Academic Years  1981-2014 (thirty two years because of the one Academic Year absence  due to the post graduate studies in the USA) I participated the Academic Activities of the Operative Dentistry Department (and since 2001of the Total Care clinic) for the clinical education  of fourth and fifth year  students as Lecturer, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor.
3. Moderator /Head of the Total Care Clinic  durin the Academic Years 2010-2011,2011-2012 and 2012-2013 and Associate Moderator during the Academic Year 2013-2014.
4. During the Academic Years  1984-85 I participated the Academic Activities of the Operative Dentistry Department MDL courses  for the fresmen and During the Academic Years  1985-86 and 86-87 participated the Academic Activities of the Operative Dentistry Department MDL courses  for the sophomores.
5. During the Academic Years  1985-86 and 1986-1987 I participated the Academic Activities of the Operative Dentistry Department MDL courses  for the third year students .
6. 7. Moderator of the Educational Unit “ Dental Practice Organization and Management” since 2007.
8. During the Academic Years 2009-2010 and 2010-2011, I participated the activities of the Nosocomial Dentistry department  teaching the module “Dental care for the Oncology patient,before,during and after the tuor treatment therapy”
9. During the Academic years 2007-2014 ( seven years) I teach the module “Laser applications in Operative Dentistry”  part of the Choice Lesso “the Lasers in Dentistry.
10. During the Academic years 2007-2014 ( seven years) I teach the module “Composite resins.Technical characteristics and their clinical significance” for the 9th semester dental students.

Research Activity And Experience

Since 1981 I participated  a large  number of research projects   and  collaborations ,which led to academic and scientific  presentations  and  publications. An expanded  version of  the research activities  is  listed in a relevant file.
