Biography

Dr. Gareth Dutton is a clinical psychologist and behavioral scientist focused on lifestyle interventions for obesity prevention and weight management. He received his PhD in clinical psychology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA and completed his predoctoral clinical internship at Brown University in Providence, RI in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior. He is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Preventive Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Prior to joining UAB, he previously held an appointment as an Assistant Professor at the Florida State University College of Medicine in Tallahassee, FL.
