Dr Johnson is a native of Barbados. He is a graduate of The Northern Caribbean University in Jamaica where he received his B.Sc in Medical Technology and Loma Linda University where he received his PhD in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics and this Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He is has been an educator for 15 years and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Oral Diagnosis at LLU. HeĀ currently is teaches Microbiology, pathology, oral surgery and anesthesiology to graduate and dental students at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. In addition Dr Johnson, performs nutraceutical research in the treatment and prevention of periodontal disease and oral cancer. His specific interest is in the use of sorrel (Hibiscus sabdariffa) in the treatment of Oral cancer and the use of nutrition to maintain oral health and to prevent oral disease.
