Biography

Dr. Wei-Hsiang Chen is an associate professor in the Institute of Environmental Engineering at National Sun Yat-Sen University (NSYSU) in Kaohsiung of Taiwan.  He is also the Associate Vice President for General Affairs/Vice Chief Executive Officer for Environmental Protection and Safety Center and Associate Director of Aerosol Science Research Center in NSYSU. Before joining NSYSU, Dr. Chen was a Post-Doctoral Scholar in John Muir Institute of the Environment at the University of California in Davis of CA (UCD) since January 2009.  Dr. Chen received his Ph.D. degree in Environmental Engineering (Minor in Environmental Chemistry) from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UCD in 2009, his Master degree of  Environmental Engineering, Science, and Management from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh of PA in 2004, and his Bachelor degree from the Department of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering at Tamkang University in Taipei of Taiwan in 2000.
