Biography

Professor Hamid Irannejad is born in 1980, Tehran, Iran. He obtained his Pharm.D at Faculty of Pharmacy, Kerman University of Medical Sciences, Iran in 2004. He received PhD of Medicinal Chemistry at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran in 2010. He spent one year for research at University of Siena, Italy under the supervision of Prof. Maurizio Botta for research on anti-HIV and anti-cancer compounds in 2009.

  • Molecular modelling
  • In silico drug design
  • Synthesis, investigation and development of new lead compounds as anti-cancer, anti-Alzheimer’s, anticonvulsant, and anti- inflammatory compounds.

  1. Receiving a grant for six months’ research at university of Siena (Italy) by Ministry of Health and Medical Education, Tehran, Iran. (2009)
  2. Elected as Young Assistant Professor in December 2014 by Ministry of Health and Medical Education and receiving a grant (100,000,000 IRR).
  3. Receiving a grant (125,000,000 IRR) by Iran National Science Foundation (INSF).
  4. Receiving a grant (300,000,000 IRR) by National Institute for Medical Research & Development (NIMAD).
