The Journal of Diabetes Research and Therapy (JDRT) recognizes that to study, increase knowledge, stimulate research properly, and stimulate better management of people with diabetes: we need to understand the science behind it.

To that end, Molecular and Cellular Biology, fundamental/translational research, Endocrinology, Neuropathology, Health Services Research, Palliative Medicine, Genetics, Biochemistry, Pharmacology are cornerstones better applied to Diabetes, its variants and comorbid disorders. Moreover, JDRT wishes to contribute to bridging the gap between scientific research and the application of nutrition and lifestyle interventions in healthcare for a better therapy of the diabetic patient and his quality of life. Moreover, the journal will welcome an emphasis on translating current research findings into practical clinical applications.
