Biography

Juliana Basko-Plluska, MD, is a graduate of Harvard Medical School. She completed her residency in Dermatology and fellowship in Dermatopathology at the University of Chicago. She has been practicing both clinical dermatology and dermatopathology since 2014. Dr. Basko-Plluska is the owner of Basko Dermatology, in addition to serving as a Clinical Associate at the University of Chicago where she works closely with dermatology residents. She was recently elected to serve on the Alumni Council of the Medical and Biological Sciences Alumni Association at the University of Chicago. Her clinical interests include the study and management of difficult pigmented lesions and skin cancer.

Dr. Basko-Plluska is board certified in dermatology and dermatopathology. She is an active member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatopathology, Chicago Dermatological Society and Illinois Dermatological Society. She has published many scientific papers and book chapters.
