Biography

Prof Adone Baroni is Associate Professor at Department of Mental Health and Preventive Medicine – Dermatology Unit – University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”, Clinical Assistant Professor of Cutaneous and Venereal Disease – Dermatology Unit, in the same University. Degree cum laude in Second University of Naples, Specialist in Dermatology and Venereology cum laude, PhD in Environmental Microbiology and Cutaneous Ecosystem. He is teacher of Dermatology and Venereology in various Degree Course, teacher of the Residence Program in Dermatology and Venereology and in Internal Medicine. Member of the PhD Committee for Microbiological Science and Medical Genetics. Prof Baroni is author (or co-author) of 150 scientific papers, 5 book chapters, actively attends (lectures, communication or poster presentations) at Congress or Symposia of Dermatology and Venereology. He has been award and several researchs grants (MIUR, CNR, Regione Campania, CE) and is co-inventor of Patent “Antimycotic and anticancer activities of Penicillium canescens new strain supernatants”. He is Member of Italian Society of Dermatology and Sexually transmitted Disease (SiDeMAST), Active Member of International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology (IACD) Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – USA in 2012, Honorary Member of Sigma xi, The Scientific Research Society, New Jersey Medical School USA in 2012. Prof Baroni attends to patients in the area of cutaneous immunopathology, skin infections, oncology, dermatological surgery, expert of lasers and IPL in Dermatology.
