Biography

After graduated from the Shanghai Railway Medical College in 1992, Dr. Xu Zhang mainly focuses on hand surgery, plastic surgery, orthopaedics, microsurgery, and trauma,. He has developed many new surgical techniques to improve surgical treatments, which are published in the Journal of Hand Surgery (Am), Journal of Hand Surgery (Br), Annual Plastic Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Journal of Trauma, Microsurgery, JBJS Br, and J Reconstructive Microsurgery. Almost 40 articles have published in the Journals cited in SCI.

As an invited speaker, who reported “Reconstructing Traumatic Defects in the Head of the Proximal Phalanx Using an Osteoarticular Pedicle Flap Taken From the Capitate” at 2014 AAHS Meeting in Hawaii.
