Biography

Michał Kowalczyk was born June 7th the 1975 year. He graduated at Medical University of Lublin in 2002. Then he started one year physician internship at University Hospital N04 in Lublin (Poland) and in 2003 became fully qualified physician (physician id. number: 1356668). After that Medical University of Lublin awarded him with scholarship in Department of Management and Economics of Health Care Medical University of Lublin. His first research interests were: quality of anesthesiological care and quality of life and emotional sequel after intensive care. Simultaneously he started his physician work in University Hospital N04 in Lublin, and began training in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine. In 2007 he defended dissertation: "Quality of life after intensive care" and acquired Ph.D. In 2010 he passed all required exams and became specialist in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine. Simultaneously, from 2007 he worked as assistant at Department of Anesthesiology & Intensive Care, Medical University of Lublin. He had classes with students and made researches in the area of anesthesiology and intensive care medicine. The latest interests in the field were: cardiac surgery anesthesia, cardiac and brain protective effects of anesthesia agents and others drugs and biochemical markers connected with this issue, hemodynamic, independent ventilation. Privately happy husband and father. Free time activities include sailing, skiing, reading historical books and operas attending.
