Biography
Dr. Trevor Stammers is Reader in Bioethics at St Mary's University in London, UK, where he is also Co-Director of the Centre for Bioethics and Emerging Technologies. He is on the teaching faculty for the Masters programme in Bioethics and Medical Law established in 2002, which now has hundreds of graduates worldwide. He is the author of over 60 papers and has been published in a number of books, most recently from Cambridge University and Oxford University Press.
Dr. Trevor Stammer’s research interests include both genomic editing and the ethics of organ acquisition for transplantation. He is also interested in the use of narrative in bioethics teaching and has published on the use of poetry in medical education.
