Biography

Professor S.K Juhn has had a career in research and teaching in the field of biochemistry of otitis media and the inner ear for more than four decades. He graduated from Kyung-pook University School of Medicine in Daegu, 1957 with an M.D. degree and M.S degree in Biochemistry from Seoul National University in Korea. In 1966, he started working as a research associate in the Inner Ear Research Laboratory under Prof. Sigurd Rauch at the University of Dusseldorf, Germany, where he also earned Dr. Med degree. In 1967, Dr. Juhnreceived invitation from University of Minnesota to establish the Auditory Biochemistry Laboratory and to develop the graduate program for residents in Otolaryngology. Since then, he has devoted himself to research and teaching at the University of Minnesota.
