Research Interest

Dr. Dickfeld’s research focus is in the field of cardiac arrhythmias. He has published more than 100 articles, book chapters and abstracts. His research has appeared in prestigious journals such as Cell, Circulation, Journal of the American College of Cardiology and Heart Rhythm. Dr. Dickfeld has a strong research interest in novel ablation approaches and imaging-guidance for complex clinical arrhythmias like ventricular tachycardia and atrial fibrillation. For his work he received several national awards such as the Melvin Judkins Young Investigator Award of the American Heart Association. He currently serves as a reviewer for several medical journals such as Circulation, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Heart Rhythm and Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology and is an active member in a variety of professional societies
