Imaging, treatments, and clinical progression in pediatric IBD patients

the pathophysiology of mucosal inflammation and healing in children with gastrointestinal diseases like, Crohn's and celiac disease. I have been involved in two projects trying to understand the healing process and identify a non invasive assessment tools. My research focus is to study celiac disease in children with the aim of finding an noninvasive methods of assessing mucosal healing, improve their healing/ quality of life, and hopefully prevent any long term complications.
