Biography

Dr. Spencer Yost is chief of Anesthesia at UCSF Medical Center at Mount Zion and medical director of the six-bed Intensive Care Unit at the Mount Zion hospital. Yost earned a medical degree at UCSF and completed an anesthesia residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, an affiliate of the UCLA School of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in critical care medicine at Presbyterian Hospital, an affiliate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Yost is a professor and vice chair of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care at UCSF.
