Biography

Professor Nirmal Kumar is consultant ENT surgeon at WWL NHS Foundation Trust where he is also Director of Medical Education. Regionally, he leads the NW CRN research network for ENT in addition to being Honorary Professor at Edge Hill University Medical School where he has led a MCh academic programme in otolaryngology for 10 years. Nationally, he is President for ENT UK and was previously Secretary. He is FRCS (ORL) examiner of the Royal College of Surgeons, Fellow of the Academy of Medical Educators and until recently vice-chair for SAC in otolaryngology. He is also MD, MCh examiner for several Universities in the UK and abroad.
